Preventing , reducing accidents at high injury rates at constructions sites with related high claims cost should start with a thorough risk assessment based on the design of the intire project or the work to be done ahead of project/work execution. We offer a machine learning based approach using the hierarchy of controls combined with past experience data on similar jobs. The identified control measures are then reviewed, monitored using cameras, sensors and drones in some cases to maintain effectiveness of the control measures, identification of hazards and hazardous situations throughout the project execution and thus avoid accidents.

Smart Industry Solution – Construction

01.
Pre-project health & safety risk assessment
We support the project managers during the project design phases. We focus on risk assessment and ergonomics focused on the hazards inherent in the processes or facility, the ergonomics taking into account the needs/hazards in the interaction between humans, technology and
the working environment and in evaluating the adequacy of proposed designs and options available to the designers. In the early stages of design the risk of hazard release scenarios will be assessed using an appropriate risk assessment matrix , with consequence and likelihood estimates that reflect Industry experience with standard controls in place. This assessment enables project managers to prioritise the design issues and to decide whether additional controls, over and above standard industry practice, are reasonably practicable and should be adopted.

02.
Project site risk assessment and continuous monitoring
Our cameras and specific drones solutions provide effective way to check effectiveness of the controls designed during the initial project/job risk assessment. Drones enable collecting the needed data for identifying and mitigating risks in projects during execution.
Greatly reduce man hours and costs by automating inspections, saving 30 – 50% of the cost and time when using drones to conduct inspection. Assess the condition and orientation of all components of works being performed at height with no need for workers to ascend to height. Inspections are done from a safe distance while increasing efficiency due to data accuracy and reliability with real-time higher resolution images, video feed, and zoom/thermal/4k capabilities can be transmitted to a ground control station.

03.
Integrated system for Risk management and permit to work system
We offer an integrated approach to safe systems of work combining continued hazards identification, safety meetings, automatic detection of unsafe
behaviour thorough investigation of near misses and effectiveness of corrective action plans , results from health surveillance.
A permit to work system is generated from the hazard register and based on machine learning model recommendation. The Permit to Work System is a primary control. Working safely, understanding and applying safe systems of work is a fundamental commitment to achieving an objective of zero accident. Our integrated models saves time to the team and allow it to focus on review and implementation of corrective plans.
